Melrose Rugby Awards Night ‘23 - ‘24 Season

Saturday 25th May marked the end of season Awards Night. The 1877 was given a bit of a glow-up & everyone turned up in looking very smart! We were treated to a great meal & Stevie Holisz did a stellar job as MC, keeping everyone entertained!

The night started with recognition of the Melrose players retrospective caps. The club presented the 3 players with a Quaich which had their names with cap numbers engraved on them. Our 3 Melrose players were Rob Moffat (Cap #1175), Ian Ramsey (Cap #1182), Craig Redpath (Cap #1196).

It was a fabulous night, enjoyed by all! It’s great to be able to recognise everyone’s achievements for a long season. Thanks to Ally for all her organising & decorating - that was a lot of balloons to blow up!
