U16 East Youth Cup Final

Melrose Wasps U16 came up short in the East Youth Cup Final at the DAM Health Stadium today. The boys came from 17-0 down to give themselves the chance to win the game, eventually losing out to a strong Currie side 37-33.

The character of this group is epitomised in how they play, they never give up. In 2021, this age group had 6 players. That core group have been influential in growing the playing group and ensuring that new players are welcome and always encouraged to be able to fulfil our fixture’s in the Borders Conference.

The future is exciting for these players both individually and as a group as they move into U18 Rugby next season.
