Well isn't this sunshine a nice change, fingers crossed it's still glorious on Saturday when we welcome Musselburgh for our last game of the season! So many of you came down to the Greenyards on Saturday for the Hawick game, it would be fab to have a repeat of that this week! We're celebrating the end of the season with with 'The Last Lunch' , so come join us to celebrate the season! If you'd like to come, please book by Thursday night so we can pass on numbers to the caterers.

If you were around the club on Saturday, you'll have noticed it was VERY busy. We had a great sponsors lunch in the 1877 & hope all our Club & Sevens sponsors who attended enjoyed themselves. We also welcomed a group from Sweden to the club - their first experience of Rugby - they seemed to enjoy themselves! In between courses we also had the draw for the Sevens...

And for the Ladies Competition:

Saturday's Rugby

There was much anticipation before Saturday's match against Hawick, we guessed that it would be a very different team to the previous week - it definitely was! The match was live on BBC Alba - they certainly picked a good one to televise! If you missed it and would like to view, please click on the link below.

International Honours

You may have seen in the press that Murrayfield celebrated it's 100 Birthday last Friday, not only did they celebrate the stadium but our very own Malcolm Changleng received his International Refereeing Cap! His first cap was South Africa versus Samoa at Ellis Park, Johannesburg in 2007, Ellis Park was the scene of the 1995 Rugby World Cup final & the moment where Nelson Mandela famously wore the Springboks jersey!

Caps were presented to the 10 living International referees including Borderers Chuck Muir, Ian Ramage, Rob Dickson and Kenny McCartney.

Congratulations to Malcolm, we're delighted he's been recognised!

U18 Team Photo with coaches Iain & Stu

A massive well done to our U18 Wasps for their efforts at @rpns7s on Monday! The team were up against it in a very tough pool, but did both themselves and the club more than proud with their performances.
While they were unlucky not to get a win, with two of the games coming down to the last play, the fact they competed in one of the biggest and toughest tournaments in Uk is a huge success for the club! The experience will definitely set them up for the Border Kings of the 7s circuit.
Another thank you to everyone who supported the boys fundraiser and to all the sponsors and supporters who made the trip possible. A special mention to Breadalbane Finance for ensuring the team had everything they needed for the day.
Let’s hope we can do it all again next year!
